Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are more powerful, lighter in weight and offer 10 times the lifespan of traditional sealed lead-acid batteries (SLA) making them ideal for deep cycle applications that can drain them or operate in extreme weather conditions.
A unique built-in Battery Management System constantly monitors the state of the battery cells to ensure maximum performance and safety, ensuring our lithium batteries will work at full capacity for thousands of cycles. The BMS protects the battery against overcharge, overloading, deep discharge, overheating, short circuit and excessively low self-discharge rate, resulting in a long battery life and safe usage.
Canbat lithium batteries are maintenance-free, meaning that there is no need to add water or electrolyte to the battery during its lifetime. Our lithium batteries also feature a high recharge and discharge efficiency, temperature protection and can be charged with any traditional lead-acid charger provided the charge voltage does not exceed lithium battery charging specification.
Our lithium battery is UL certified for use in all types of application and can be installed in any position. It can be used as a drop-in replacement for any application that requires a 12V sealed lead-acid battery, providing more energy for the same footprint and avoiding environmental concerns with toxic chemicals such as acid and heavy metals.
The Canbat battery is covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, abuse, or accidents such as impact and fire. In the event of a warranty claim, Canbat will determine whether the battery can be repaired and offer a new battery in place of the defective one.
